Preapplications and Proposals must be received in our office by the deadline. Organizations previously granted are not automatically considered for a Final Proposal and are required to submit a Preapplication by the stated deadlines. If the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications are due in the Foundation office no later than the first business day following the deadline. The Foundation does not accept faxed or emailed Preapplications or Final Proposals and prefers to avoid the use of express mail. If all the requested materials are not received prior to the deadline, the proposal may be bumped to the next funding cycle. Proposals will be reviewed according to the following schedule:

Cycle1

Preapplication due: March 16th
As soon as decisions are made you will be notified via regular mail. Organizations invited to submit a Full Proposal will be given that due date in their invitation letter.

Decisions made: end of August

Cycle 2

Preapplication due: September 16th
As soon as decisions are made you will be notified via regular mail. Organizations invited to submit a Full Proposal will be given that due date in their invitation letter.

Decisions made: end of February

Additional information may be requested from the organization itself or from sources familiar with the applicant group. Site visits may be requested. Please note that it is impossible to meet with every applicant organization each funding cycle. Grantees will be notified as soon as possible following our decision meetings. Recipients will be asked to submit a report at the conclusion of theone-year grant period.
